A stakeholder is anyone with an interest or concern in something. Forum and stakeholder groups are organized groups of individuals who would participate in, be affected by, benefit from or be burdened by an event or process. The department organizes and meets with stakeholders through these forums, workgroups, committees and advisory groups to discuss specific environmental issues. These meetings serve a valuable purpose in connecting department staff and its leadership with our customers.
Listed below are active forums, stakeholder workgroups and committees the department has organized. Learn more about the group, the topics they discuss and how you can participate. For directions and contact information where these groups usually meet, please visit the department's Building Addresses and Maps page.
*The Drought Assessment Committee and Flood Recovery Advisory Working Group are standing working groups that remain inactive unless severe drought or significant flooding requires the group to be activated.
