The Scrap Tire Advisory Group is made up of state legislators, tire industry representatives and citizens interested in scrap tire management. Other Missouri state agencies represented include the Missouri Department of Transportation, Missouri Department of Economic Development, Missouri Department of Conservation, State Fire Marshall's Office, Environmental Improvement and Energy Resources Authority and Office of Administration. The group evaluates the focus and accomplishments of current scrap tire management and recommends opportunities and changes to law, regulations and department scrap tire management programs.
Meetings are held as needed and are open to everyone. Attendance at these meetings may be in person, by conference call or through Webex. The department cannot guarantee the quality of the Webex or conference call options. The department attempts to correct any technical difficulties as they arise, but the meeting will not be subject to change or repeat due to any technical difficulties.
