Data is collected through various sources, including the state and federal level and through regulated entities. The types of data currently available are listed below.

- Geologic Evaluation Data Gateway Exchange (GeoEDGE) - Request a geohydrologic evaluation, search for a completed evaluation, or review the status of a submitted geohydrologic evaluation for siting new disposal areas
- Missouri Gateway for Environmental Management (MoGEM) - Online portal is used by the regulated community to conduct business with the department. Waste-related services available within MoGEM:
- Hazardous Waste Generator Reporting - File Generator’s Hazardous Waste Summary Report and the Facility Summary Reports
- Low-level Radioactive Waste Shipment Payments - Pay fees related to shipping low-level radioactive waste in or through Missouri
- Shared CROMERR Services (SCS) - Shippers and carriers register their Radioactive Waste Carrier/ Shipper Registration through the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's SCS system

- Envirofacts - Search federal environmental database systems for information about various facilities and sites, including toxic chemical releases, hazardous waste handling processes and Superfund status
- Environmental Emergency Response Tracking Systems - Search either the MEERTS or MERLIN tracking systems for information about hazardous substance releases and response incidents
- Environmental Site Tracking and Research Tool (E-Start) - Access information about site investigations and cleanups, as well as certain regulated sites within a specific community or area
- Hazardous Waste Generator Lists - Access lists of active and deactivated hazardous waste generators
- Hazardous Waste and Infectious Waste Transporters - Search a list of companies or individuals who have obtained a license to transport hazardous waste, infectious waste or both
- Missouri Commercial Hazardous Waste Facilities - Access a list of all Missouri commercial hazardous waste treatment, storage and disposal facilities
- Regulated Hazardous Waste Treatment, Storage and Disposal (TSD) Facilities – Access information about TSD facilities the department regulates and documents regarding the property that the department currently has available in electronic form
- Underground Storage Tanks - Access information about underground storage tank registration information on file with the department

- Pharmaceutical Take-Back and Safe Disposal Locations Viewer - Locate pharmaceutical take-back sites throughout the state of Missouri and its surrounding areas.
- Scrap Tire Haulers - Access information about companies or individuals who have obtained a permit to transport scrap tires for profit within Missouri
- Scrap Tire Processors - Access information about companies or individuals who have obtained a permit to process scrap tires
- Solid Waste Management District Funding Allocations - Information about the amount of solid waste tonnage fee funds distributed among the solid waste management districts
