Listed below are proposed new or expanding Concentrated Animal Feeding Operation (CAFO) facilities near Pierce City and Verona, Missouri. These facilities are requesting a wastewater operating permit to operate a no-discharge poultry operation. Each application is extensively reviewed by department staff, including a geohydrologic evaluation conducted by the department's Missouri Geologic Survey. A copy of the evaluation, associated map and application for each proposed operation is listed below.

Notice

The department held an "in-person only" public hearing on May 29, 2025 in Pierce City, Missouri, to obtain public comments and provide permitting regulatory framework for the draft permits for the facilities listed below. For more information about the hearing, please follow the links below.
