This database contains every EPA Identification Number issued for a Missouri location. EPA ID numbers are a unique 12-character alphanumeric code assigned by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, to businesses that generate, transport, treat, store or dispose of regulated hazardous waste. The database includes the following types of sites in Missouri:
- Hazardous waste generators*
- Hazardous waste transporters
- Treatment, storage and disposal (TSD) facilities
- Used oil handlers
- Participating in any other activity that requires an EPA ID
Note: MoRCRA does not contain every site that generates hazardous waste. Hazardous waste generators that fall under Very Small Quantity Generators status are not required to obtain an EPA ID.

MoRCRA contains site registration information as of March 11, 2026, when the system launched. Any notifications the department processes after that date will also be available. Historic registration information is not accessible through MoRCRA. To review or obtain copies of registration forms prior to March 11, 2026, please submit an Open Records/ Sunshine Law Request. Please include the EPA ID of the site in your request information.
MoRCRA also contains waste reporting information required for hazardous waste generators and TSD facilities. Both Generator's Hazardous Waste Summary Reports and Facility Summary Reports are available. Beginning with the July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026 reporting year, the reporting information displayed is taken from EPA’s e-Manifest system.
Regulated Community Access
Those in the regulated community may now file the Notification of Regulated Waste Activity form through MoRCRA. This part of the MoRCRA system is accessed through the department's Missouri Gateway for Environmental Management (MoGEM) online portal. For more information about filing the notification form, please visit Hazardous Waste Generator Registration.
Please note that implementing MoRCRA has eliminated the state reporting requirements for most generators. Those that are still required to report will be able to do so in MoRCRA. For more information about filing hazardous waste reports, please visit Hazardous Waste Reporting.
