Pettis County Development Co. LLC applied for a solid waste disposal area construction permit for the Presidio Environmental Repository Facility. The new landfill would be located at 20850 Buckley Road, La Monte, Missouri in Pettis County. The proposed sanitary landfill would be used for disposing municipal solid waste, bulky waste, demolition and construction waste, brush and wood waste, soil, rock concrete, tires and inert solids. The total acreage of the property containing the proposed landfill is approximately 520 acres, with the proposed waste footprint being 80.5 acres.

Please be aware that any parties adversely affected by the department’s decision may pursue an appeal within 30 days of the decision, by filing a written petition to the Administrative Hearing Commission, as provided in Missouri Revised Statutes section 621.250.3, RSMo.
