The application period for Water Safety and Security Act Project Grants is now open. Through this grant program, the department provides financial assistance to eligible community public water systems to develop accurate maps that identify shut-off valve and hydrant locations and satisfy the requirements of the Missouri Water Safety and Security Act. Maximum award amounts are limited to $15,000.
Complete project applications received by Nov. 30, 2024, are automatically placed into the priority project category for review and project selection. Applications received between Dec. 1, 2024 through March 31, 2025, may be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis if available funds remain.
