The Missouri Department of Natural Resources is responsible for issuing permits required by federal and state environmental laws and regulations. The department works with businesses and individuals doing business in Missouri to make sure they operate safely and to ensure the environment and citizens of Missouri are protected. These permits ensure they understand and comply with all applicable federal and state environmental standards to protect our air, land and water and minimize their impact on the environment.
Available below are permit applications the department has received that are currently available in electronic form. The applications are under review to make sure they meet the requirements of applicable state and federal laws and regulations. An application is considered pending until the department issues or denies the permit or the applicant withdraws the application. The public will be invited to review and comment on the department's proposed decision before a final decision is made.
