Animal Waste Management

Animal waste management practices help to manage manure and other agricultural wastes. The practices are designed to reduce or prevent degradation of the soil and water resources. Systems are planned to eliminate discharge of pollutants to surface or groundwater and to recycle waste products back onto the land through correct soil application.

N316 - Incinerator

Safely dispose of livestock and poultry carcasses to reduce pollution of water and soil resources.



N317 - Composting Facility

Build a composting facility to utilize natural decomposition to break down animal waste to be used to improve soil fertility and crop production.
