JEFFERSON CITY, MO, OCT. 11, 2023 – The Missouri Advisory Council on Historic Preservation will consider nominations to the National Register of Historic Places during its quarterly meeting Friday, Oct. 13. The meeting begins at 10 a.m. and will be held in the LaCharrette and Nightingale Creek conference rooms at the Lewis and Clark State Office Building, located at 1101 Riverside Drive, Jefferson City. Remote participation is also available using the information below. 

The following nominations will be considered at the meeting: 

  • #1 Fairway, 11869 Fairlind Drive, Sunset Hills, St Louis County.
  • LeGear Medicine Company Building, 4155 Beck Ave, St. Louis [Independent City].
  • Switzer, P. A., Residence, 211 E. Samuel St., Hamilton, Caldwell County.
  • Heim Fire Station #20, 2701 Guinotte Ave., Kansas City, Jackson County.
  • Savings Trust Company of St. Louis, 4915 Delmar Ave., St. Louis, [Independent City].          

The Missouri Advisory Council on Historic Preservation is a group of historians, architects, archaeologists and citizens who are interested in historic preservation. The council is appointed by the governor and works with the Department of Natural Resources' State Historic Preservation Office, which administers the National Register of Historic Places program for Missouri. The council meets quarterly to review Missouri property nominations to the National Register, the nation's honor roll of historic properties. Approved nominations are forwarded to the Keeper of the National Register in Washington, D.C. for final approval.
