The application period for Land and Water Conservation Fund Grants is now open. The department's Division of State Parks issues these grants to help provide recreational opportunities to Missouri citizens. These grants are available to cities, counties and public school districts to be used for outdoor recreation projects. The application deadline is Nov. 13, 2026.
A general information workshop is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2026, to discuss basic information about the grant and changes for this grant round. Four additional workshops are scheduled to focus on how to fill out the different sections of the grant application.
