The department will hold a public informational meeting regarding modifying Master General Permits MO-G822000 and MO-G920000, and the proposed issuance of four new Master General Permits, which includes:
- Land Application Annual Soil Analysis Method - Surficial land application (land application) of industrial wastewater and wastewater treatment residuals from commercial food production industries, eating places, and industrial process wastewater composting facilities using the University of Missouri (MU) Annual Soil Analysis method for determining loading rates of surficial land application.
- Land Application P-Index Single Year Method - Surficial Land application (land application) of industrial wastewater and wastewater treatment residuals from commercial food production industries, eating places, and industrial process wastewater composting facilities using the Missouri Phosphorus Index (P-Index) single field management plan for determining loading rates of land application.
- Land Application P-Index Five Year Method - Surficial land application (land application) of industrial wastewater and wastewater treatment residuals from commercial food production industries, and industrial process wastewater composting facilities eating places using the Missouri Phosphorus Index (P-Index) Five Year (5-Year) field management plan for determining loading rates of land application.
- Underground Injection - Subsurface dispersal of industrial process wastewater and wastewater treatment residuals from various industries.
- Feedstock Composting - Composting operations covering greater than two acres and less than 20 acres that compost industrial process wastes, domestic wastes, and materials from restaurants and eating places. This permit does not authorize any discharges in any manner.
This meeting is an opportunity to provide input regarding the current Industrial Process Wastewater and Composting Master General Permits and new proposed permits.
