Sealed bids will be received at the office of the Purchasing Agent, 320 East McCarty Street, Jefferson City, Missouri 65101, until 1:30 p.m., on Thursday April 30, 2026. The bids will be opened and read aloud in the Council Chambers at 1:30 p.m. on that same day.

The proposed work for the project entitled "Westview Pump Station Upgrade Project No. 31214” will include the furnishing of all material, labor, and equipment for construction of a new wastewater pump station and underground concrete equalization basin (storage) including sitework, yard piping, storm sewer, structural, architectural, process piping and equipment, heating / air conditioning, electrical and instrumentation and control.

Obtaining the Bidding Documents

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 9:00 a.m., on April 8, 2026 at the Jefferson City Regional Water Reclamation Facility, 401 Mokane Road, Jefferson City, Missouri 65101. At 2:00 p.m. a site visit to the pump station will be conducted to allow prospective bidders an opportunity to see the site. All prospective bidders are urged to attend.

Instructions to Bidders

The contract will require compliance with the wage and labor requirements and the payment of minimum wages in accordance with the Schedule of Wage Rates established by the Missouri Division of Labor Standards. In addition, the contract will require compliance with the wage and labor requirements in accordance with the federal Davis-Bacon Act wage rates.

The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities therein, to determine which is the lowest and best bid and to approve the bond.
