Sealed bids will be received at the office of the Purchasing Agent, 320 East McCarty Street, Jefferson City, Missouri 65101, until 1:30 p.m., on April 30, 2026 The bids will be opened and read aloud in the Council Chambers at 1:30 p.m. on that same day.
The proposed work for the project entitled "Westview Force Main – Phase 2 Project No. 31215” will include the furnishing of all material, labor, and equipment for construction of approximately 8,150 feet of new wastewater force main including sitework, piping, air release valves and structures, construction of storm sewer replacements, and construction of approximately 1,160 feet of 12-inch sanitary sewer, including manhole and pipe connections.
Obtaining the Bidding Documents
A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 10:30 a.m., on April 8, 2026 at the Jefferson City Regional Water Reclamation Facility, 401 Mokane Road, Jefferson City, Missouri 65101. All prospective bidders are urged to attend.
Plans may be obtained electronically, at no cost, at the Jefferson City Procurement Portal.
Instructions to Bidders
The contract will require compliance with the wage and labor requirements and the payment of minimum wages in accordance with the Schedule of Wage Rates established by the Missouri Division of Labor Standards. In addition, the contract will require compliance with the wage and labor requirements in accordance with the federal Davis-Bacon Act wage rates.
The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities therein, to determine which is the lowest and best bid and to approve the bond.
