Bids for the construction of the Project will be received electronically online by Missouri American Water through its online e-procurement system “COUPA”, until Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at 4 p.m. local time. At that time the Bids received will be privately opened and read. Note, preregistration through COUPA is required.
The Project includes the following Work:
- Construction of a new chemical feed building to replace existing chemical facilities.
- Construction of a new lime feed building to replace existing chemical facilities.
- Chemical feed ductbanks to the chemical application points.

Instructions to Bidders
The link included in the email Bidders receive is unique and can be shared with others. Please be mindful of whom you share that link with and also do NOT delete the email. This link is the only way a Bidder can access the Bidding event on behalf of your organization.
The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website.
A mandatory pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at 1:30 p.m. local time at South Water Treatment Plant, 12710 Maurer Industrial Dr, St. Louis, MO 63127. Upon entering the gate, proceed to the double-wide modular trailer. Bids will not be accepted from Bidders that do not attend the mandatory pre-bid conference.
