Sealed Bids for the construction of Phase 9 - Water System Improvements: Contract #1: 400,000 Gallon Elevated Tank; Contract #2: BPS & Waterline will be received by the Public Water Supply District No. 1 of Pike County, Missouri located at 1106 West Adams, Bowling Green, MO 63334, until 2:00 p.m. local time on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of constructing a new 400,000 gallon elevated tank [Contract #1], waterline installation, piping modifications at an existing booster pump station, piping modifications at two (2) existing elevated tanks, and construction of a new booster pump station [Contract #2].
Separate Bids will be received for Contract #1 -- 400,000 Gallon Elevated Tank and Contract #2 – BPS & Waterline. Bids for Contract #1 shall be on a Lump Sum basis and bids for Contract #2 shall be on a Lump Sum and Unit Price basis as indicated on the bid form.
Obtaining the Bidding Documents
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Four Points Land Surveying & Engineering, Inc., 17 Northport Plaza, Hannibal, MO 63401. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.
Bidding Documents also may be examined at PWSD No. 1 of Pike County’s office at 1106 West Adams, Bowling Green, MO 63334, Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Instructions to Bidders
Printed copies or electronic copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office, during the hours indicated above, upon a non-refundable payment of $75.00 for each set. Upon request the documents may be shipped by priority mail or standard ground service at no additional charge. Expedited shipping shall be at the expense of the bidder. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President's Executive Order Number 11246. Requirements for bidders and contractors under this order are explained in the specifications.
