Jennifer Gerwitz requested Section 401 Water Quality Certification to accompany the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Permit for Nationwide Permit 13 for "Bank Stabilization." The proposed project is located at the following coordinates in St. Louis County, Missouri: latitude 38.835, longitude -90.314. The project proposes to use rock stabilization on slopes, construct a retaining wall, use rock toe protection and alter stream grading to improve the stream's natural riffle-pool sequence. The project impacts 650 linear feet of stream channel and 920 linear feet of streambank.
