A proposed amendment to Code of State Regulations 10 CSR 10-6.070 New Source Performance Regulations, is now available for public review and comment until April 3, 2025. The department will hold a public hearing about the proposed amendment on March 27, 2025, during the regularly scheduled Missouri Air Conservation Commission meeting. The main purpose of this proposed amendment is to adopt by reference certain federal emission standards, updates and clarifications to existing federal regulations found in 40 C.F.R. Part 60, 40 C.F.R. Part 63 and 40 C.F.R. Part 61, and promulgated by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency from July 1, 2019, through June 30, 2024. By amending Missouri regulations to incorporate these federal standards, the Missouri Department of Natural Resources will ensure it retains the authority to implement and enforce these federal regulations.
