The department is hosting a meeting to discuss the Missouri Nutrient Loss Reduction Strategy (NLRS). A committee of representatives from environmental, agricultural and natural resource organizations finalized the Missouri NLRS in 2014. The strategy set goals to reduce nutrient loss to groundwater and surface water through adaptive approaches. At this meeting the department will discuss various highlights of the last 10 years, updates on current NLRS projects and future updates to the strategy.
