The city of Ava, Missouri is requesting proposals for services to complete a lead service line inventory and/ or provide lead service line replacement plan services. All proposals, including price for the services, must be mailed to and received at City of Ava, P.O. Box 967, Ava, MO 65608 by Friday, April 5, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. local time. Late proposals will not be considered. Electronic proposals will not be considered. Conditional proposals will not be accepted. Proposals must be sealed and clearly labeled with the entity’s name and address on the outside of the envelope. Proposals will be opened and read publicly on April 9, 2024, during the city counsel meeting beginning at 5:00 pm.
This project is financed through the Missouri State Revolving Fund, by the Water and Wastewater Loan Revolving Fund and federal Capitalization Grants to Missouri.
Request for Proposals
The city of Ava is requesting proposals for services to complete a lead service line inventory services. The completed lead service line inventory spreadsheet should adhere to 40 CFR 141.84. The city has an estimated 1,700 service lines.
The city of Ava is requesting pricing for several services as part of this project. Bidders must provide a price on the below proposal form for each service requested. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President's Executive Order Number 11246. Requirements for bidders and contractors under this order are further explained at the link provided below. The appropriate state and federal wage rates are applicable to this project.
