The priority application period for Source Water Protection Project Grants closed March 31, 2024. However, applications received between April 1, 2024 through May 15, 2024, may be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis if available funds remain.
Through this grant program, the department provides financial assistance to community public water systems to develop and implement voluntary, local source water protection plans to protect the community’s raw water source(s) from contamination. Awards are limited to a maximum of $25,000 in grant funds.
