The department will hold a public informational meeting regarding the reissuance of the Master General Permit MO-G640000, which pertains to process wastewater discharges associated with water treatment plant filter backwash water and solids. Allows operation of no-discharge sludge holding systems as well as land application of water treatment plant sludge. This meeting is an opportunity to provide input regarding the current permit. A draft of the next permit will not yet be available at the time of the meeting, as the permit writer wishes to incorporate changes based on comments received about the current permit.
