Meet the Regional Director - Mike Carroll
Mike Carroll became regional director for the department's Kansas City Regional Office on July 16, 2024. Mike began his career with the department in 2019, as the Waste Management Unit Chief in the Kansas City Regional Office.
Before joining the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Mike worked for the Missouri Department of Agriculture as a Pesticide Use Investigator. Mike started his professional career as a Sales Marketing Specialist with Ciba/Syngenta and was responsible for marketing farm products to aid in crop production in a territory that covered the Western third of Missouri.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from University of Missouri – Columbia and a Master of Science in Agronomy from Iowa State University. Additionally, he has taught high school science courses and served as a 4th and 5th grade teacher.
