Land application and subsurface dispersal of industrial wastewater and mixed industrial/ domestic wastewater, including treatment residuals, from animal care facilities. This includes, but is not limited to, facilities such as veterinary, boarding, grooming and shelters. Permitted facilities are those that are not connected to a wastewater treatment facility and that use land application, subsurface injection or composting to manage waste streams. This permit does not cover Animal Feeding Operations (AFOs), Confined Animal Feeding Operations (CAFOs) or other forms of animal agriculture.
