Events, Collections and Trainings

The department sponsors or supports an assortment of waste and recycling events to promote wise waste management practices. Temporary collection events are held as an opportunity for citizens to properly recycle or dispose their unwanted waste pesticides and electronic devices. Training courses are held to help the businesses we regulate understand how to comply with state and federal law and regulations.
