Division of Environmental Quality Director: Kyra Moore
The Soil and Water Conservation Program works with the Soil Health Assessment Center (SHAC) to offer soil characterization services to cost share cooperators that participate in the cover crop cost share program. SHAC analyzes soil health indicators and develops soil-specific prescriptive analyses for samples submitted to them. The Soil and Water Conservation Program's cover crops cost-share practice is available through Missouri's 114 soil and water conservation districts.
