JEFFERSON CITY, MO, APRIL 7, 2022 – Team members at Weston Bend State Park invite the public to celebrate this Earth Day from 3-5 p.m. Friday, April 22 and get the “dirt” on earth! Collect nature decorations, create your very own mud birthday cake and hear park team members share facts about local soil and geology, and discuss the history of Earth Day.
Participants should meet at the paved trail parking lot and wear clothing that you don't mind getting muddy.
The public is strongly encouraged to follow social-distancing guidelines and be proactive in protecting themselves and others.
