Release Date

JEFFERSON CITY, MO, OCT. 12, 2022 – Join Wallace State Park team members on Saturday, Oct. 29, for their annual Fall Fun event. Visitors should meet at the campground amphitheater for all programs and activities. There will be treats for everyone.

Fall Fun activities:

  • 10 a.m.: Find the pumpkin! Hikers who find the hidden pumpkins on the trails will win a prize.
  • 1 p.m.: “The Night Shift” – Operation Wildlife will present a live owl program.
  • 7 p.m.: Halloween Campsite Decorating and Pumpkin Carving/Decorating Contest – Transform your campsite with lights and decorations for the annual Halloween Campsite Decorating Contest. Please keep decorations family-friendly and safe for people and wildlife. Visitors are encouraged to walk through the campgrounds from 7 to 9 p.m.
