JEFFERSON CITY, MO, MAY 23, 2023 – – Representatives from the World Bird Sanctuary will be at Wakonda State Park beginning at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 27, to present a raptor awareness program. This program delves into topics surrounding raptors and features flying demonstrations to introduce visitors to the principles of aviation.

This event will take place at Shelter No. 1, located near the beach. Available seating is limited and attendees are encouraged to bring a chair.

For safety reasons, pets will not be allowed in or near the program area.
