JEFFERSON CITY, MO, MAY 8, 2022 – Have you always wanted to see the Katy Trail but are unable to bike or hike it? Missouri State Parks invites senior citizens to experience Katy Trail State Park from the comfort of a tram coach.

Tuesdays on the Trail offers a series of eight free tours at various locations along the trail. On May 24, tours will travel from McKittrick to Rhineland, offering visitors a chance to see part of the trail they may not otherwise be able to experience.

Tours will be offered at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., and will last two hours. An interpretive guide will present information about the history of the Katy Trail and commentary on local natural and cultural history along the trail. Snacks and bottled water will be provided.
