Release Date

JEFFERSON CITY, MO, SEPT. 3, 2022 – Join team members at Thousand Hills State Park at a reptile program set for September and October in the Campground 1 Amphitheater. Learn why reptiles are important and which ones might be found at the park.

All programs are weather permitting. Check the Thousand Hills State Park Facebook page at facebook.com/ThousandHillsStatePark/ for cancellations, location changes and other park information.

Programs are scheduled for the following dates:

  • 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17
  • 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15

Thousand Hills State Park is located at 20431 State Highway 157 in Kirksville. The program will take place at the Beach Shelter. Follow Highway 157 into the park and then turn left on Beach Trail Road. There will be seats available at the picnic tables, but guests are welcome to bring lawn chairs or blankets.
