Release Date

JEFFERSON CITY, MO, JULY 2, 2022 – Enjoy the outdoor sights, sounds and scents while strolling along the Battle of Island Mound State Historic Site’s 0.6-mile trail at 8 p.m. Saturday, July 16.

Take in the evening as the local flora and fauna prepare for the upcoming nightfall. Some will be resting after a day of surviving, while others will just begin their “day,” hoping to survive another night. 

Participants should meet at the Courage Trail and are encouraged to wear sturdy shoes and insect repellent, and bring a flashlight.
