JEFFERSON CITY, MO, MARCH 13, 2023 – Where can you catch aquatic animals, evaluate water quality through chemical tests and check the health of a state park’s streams? Rock Bridge Memorial State Park, that’s where! The park is holding an ongoing citizen science project for the Bonne Femme watershed.

Join park team members at the Devil’s Icebox parking lot at 9 a.m. Saturday, March 25. No prior training is needed; participants will be placed with experienced Stream Team volunteers. Five teams will disperse to monitor five locations in several streams within the park.

Registration is required and can be completed by visiting showmeboone.com/stormwater/ or by calling 573-886-4330. Participants will receive a free sack lunch. Rock Bridge Memorial State Park is located at 5901 S. Highway 163, near Columbia.
