JEFFERSON CITY, MO, JUNE 4, 2022 – Join Suzanne Jones as she presents traditional stories from the Choctaw, Cherokee and Delaware nations/tribes, all of which Jones either descended from or is a tribal member.

Missouri Humanities and Missouri State Parks invite the public to the storytelling at 6 p.m. Saturday, June 18 at Annie and Abel Van Meter State Park. Jones will tell tales around the fire in the park’s campground. 

Annie and Abel Van Meter State Park is located 12 miles north of Marshall on Hwy. 122. For more information about the event, call the park office at 660-886-7537.
