JEFFERSON CITY, MO, AUG. 12, 2022 – Have you ever wondered how the natural world wakes up each morning? Come experience the sights and sounds of nature on a sunrise hike at Bennett Spring State Park.
Hike along the Savanna Ridge Trail with park team members as they wind up and down hills through the woods. Participants meet at the Natural Tunnel/ Savanna Ridge Trailhead at 6:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 27. All ages and experience levels are welcome. Hikers should wear footwear appropriate for rocky terrain and bring water and insect repellent.
