JEFFERSON CITY, MO, FEB. 11, 2022 – Assistant superintendent Melissa Blank at Nathan and Olive Boone Homestead State Historic Site invites kids ages 6 to 16 to a hands-on workshop about marzipan and sugar plate, two sweet treats from the 19th century, at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 26.
All participants should be accompanied by one adult. Space is limited; those interested can reserve a space by contacting the historic site at 417-751-3266.
Nathan and Olive Boone Homestead State Historic Site is located at 7850 N. State Highway V, Ash Grove, northwest of Springfield.
