JEFFERSON CITY, MO, FEB. 9, 2022 – Interpreters at Nathan and Olive Boone Homestead State Historic Site invite the public to grab a cup of coffee and join them virtually at noon Friday, Feb. 18 on the Nathan and Olive Boone Homestead State Historic Site’s Facebook page.
Site superintendent Mike Busekrus and assistant superintendent Melissa Blank will explore the ongoing research into the lives and experiences of individuals enslaved at the Boone Homestead, in the Boone neighborhood and across southwest Missouri.
