JEFFERSON CITY, MO, JUNE 10, 2022 – Visit Nathan and Olive Boone Homestead State Historic Site from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 25 and Sunday, June 26 to explore the rich and colorful history of Missouri through the eyes of the state’s beloved artist, Thomas Hart Benton.
A scaled replica of the mural from the Missouri state capitol will be on site. On Sunday, June 26, site team members will bring the mural to life through the use of local artifacts related to the mural in a pop-up exhibit located near the Boone home.
This event is family friendly and free to the public.
