JEFFERSON CITY, MO, MARCH 10, 2025 – The Missouri Department of Natural Resources' Division of State Parks is seeking public input as it updates the Statewide Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan. The update is a collaborative effort with the University of Missouri School of Natural Resources.
The 5-year plan identifies Missouri’s available public outdoor recreation opportunities, from local parks to state and national parks, and everything in between. The plan also helps decide the future outdoor recreation needs for Missouri.
Missouri State Parks is asking citizens to help guide this process by completing a brief survey. It will use the responses to set grant funding priorities for future outdoor recreation development throughout the state. Responses will only be used for the recreational plan and will stay anonymous.
Participants can take the survey by visiting missouri.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_bauu9x1blowagEm.
