JEFFERSON CITY, MO, MAY 18, 2022 – The Missouri State Museum invites the public to explore the not-so-fast lane for women’s suffrage. Join the museum team at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, for a presentation on the contributions of Missouri’s advocates for women’s right to vote. Learn how the cause was not unified but showed cracks along ideological and racial lines.

The Missouri State Museum’s “Landing After Hours” program is held the first Wednesday of the month at Jefferson Landing State Historic Site, 100 Jefferson St. in Jefferson City. The Lohman classroom will open at 6:30 p.m., with the program starting at 7 p.m. Convenient parking is available in the lot next to the Lohman Building.
