JEFFERSON CITY, MO, APRIL 29, 2022 – Missouri State Parks invites the public to the presentation of the final conceptual development plan for Ozark Mountain State Park at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 4, at the park’s stables.
Park team members will present an update on the park’s conceptual plan, which outlines future use and development of the property. They will also share ongoing stewardship plans for the park and announce a decision on a name change proposal for the park. After the presentations, attendees are invited to join a guided hike through the park at 1 p.m.
Public input is important to Missouri State Parks. These informational meetings help create two-way communication between the parks and the public and provide the opportunity to discuss the current status and future plans for the park.
