JEFFERSON CITY, MO, MAY 26, 2023 – Missouri has long been known as the Gateway to the West, but did you know that even after the end of westward expansion, Missouri still serves a role as a gateway? Join Lucas Schwartze, Missouri State Museum interpreter, as he discusses Missouri’s contributions to space exploration in the past, present and future.

The Missouri State Museum’s “Landing After Hours” program is held the first Wednesday of each month and the next event is right around the corner, set to take place Wednesday, June 7. Doors will open at
6:30 p.m. and the program will begin at 7 p.m. Convenient parking is available in the lot next to the Lohman Building.
