JEFFERSON CITY, MO, OCT. 23, 2023 – Mastodon State Historic Site will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new ADA-compliant parking spaces and museum entrance ramp Tuesday Oct. 31, 2023 at 11 am. The project now provides visitors of all abilities easier access to the museum, which opened in 1987.

The ceremony will recognize the extraordinary effort put forth by the team at Mastodon State Historic Site, as well as acknowledge the assistance provided by other state parks, without whose assistance the project would not have been achievable.
