JEFFERSON CITY, MO, AUG. 4, 2022 – It’s summer and it’s hot. You reach in the fridge for a cold, refreshing beverage, like a can of soda in an aluminum can. So, what do you do when you’re finished? Recycle, of course! But there are more creative options than just putting that can in a recycle bin.

Join the park team at Bennett Spring State Park from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18, to learn how to make attractive and decorative aluminum can art. This is a come-and-go-style program and all materials will be provided. Due to the sharp edges of aluminum, this program is recommended for ages 10 and older. The program will take place in the nature center.

Bennett Spring State Park is located at 26250 Highway 64A in Lebanon. For more information, call 417-532-3925.
