JEFFERSON CITY, MO, APRIL 11, 2022 – Team members from Missouri State Parks invite the public to attend informational meetings throughout the state to provide their input and comments and to ask questions about the park and its operations. Park team members will be present to answer questions and provide information.

Jewell Cemetery Historic Site, Rock Bridge Memorial State Park and the Midwest Section of the Katy Trail State Park

Open house for these three sites begins at 9 a.m. in the Devil’s Icebox Parking Lot at Rock Bridge Memorial State Park, 7 miles south of Columbia on Highway 163. Following the meeting, visitors are invited to participate in a short hike.
 

Clark’s Hill/Norton State Historic Site

Open house begins at 1 p.m. at the site, located on Osage Hickory Street, Osage City in Cole County. The meeting will be in the parking lot. A hike also will follow.

Input from the public is important to Missouri State Parks. These informational meetings are being held in all state parks and historic sites to help create two-way communication with the public. The meetings will inform the public on the current status and future plans for the park or historic site and offer visitors the opportunity to comment on the facilities.
