JEFFERSON CITY, MO, OCT. 1, 2022 – Come celebrate Knob Noster State Park’s 76th birthday at the History Hallowfest event from 2-8 p.m. on Saturday Oct. 15.

d at Camp Bobwhite, located off Highway DD, near Knob Noster, Missouri. The event is free and open to the public.
All activities and demonstrations will take place from 2-8 p.m. unless otherwise noted. The schedule includes the following:

  • Halloween games.
  • Self-guided spooky hike.
  • Self-guided history and spooky scavenger hunt (2-6 p.m.).
  • Hayrides – every 45 minutes from 2-7 p.m.; limited to approximately 25 people per ride.
  • Oddities in Nature.
  • Crafts.
  • Face painting.
  • Obstacle course for kids.
  • Lions Club food stand.
  • Popcorn sales from Boy Scout Troop 509.
  • KN Revitalization vendor.
  • Lakeside Nature Center animal program – 2:30-4:30 p.m.
  • Traditional acoustic music from Frosty Morn Trio at the Bobwhite Amphitheater – 2:30-4:30 p.m.
  • Storyteller Jim “Two Crows” Wallen at the Bobwhite Amphitheater – 7-8 p.m.
