JEFFERSON CITY, MO, NOV. 18, 2022 – Take a step back in time to enjoy an early French colonial Christmas in Ste. Genevieve. This celebration, known as Le Réveillon, will take place from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at Felix Vallé State Historic Site.

The event will feature early 19th century customs, foods and refreshments of Christmas in a French colonial community, as well as guides dressed in period costumes. Historical music will be playing while traditional dancers from Dance Discovery entertain guests. Dance Discovery is a performance dance troupe based in St. Louis that performs historically faithful social dances from the 1600s to the present.

This free, family-friendly event is part of Ste. Genevieve’s larger community Christmas Festival.
