JEFFERSON CITY, MO, JUNE 1, 2022 - The Missouri Department of Natural Resources will co-host a virtual learning opportunity about Energy Savings Performance Contracting (ESPC) in Missouri from 1 to 3 p.m. June 29. The webinar, titled Fundamentals of Energy Savings Performance Contracting in Missouri, will provide an overview of the ESPC process in Missouri.
Offered in partnership with the National Association of State Energy Officials and the Energy Services Coalition, this online workshop will offer an overview of how to apply this financing mechanism and pay for today’s upgrades with tomorrow’s energy savings. The webinar will also place a special emphasis on providing this information to underserved communities. State and municipal buildings, colleges and universities, K-12 schools and hospitals are well-suited for these investments.
ESPC offers an opportunity to finance energy efficiency investments through future cost savings. ESPC has helped organizations significantly reduce energy and operating costs and make progress toward sustainability goals.
