Release Date

JEFFERSON CITY, MO, MARCH 30, 2022 – Team members at Crowder State Park invite the public for a spring hike from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, April 15.

Participants should meet at the campground amphitheater for a 5-mile guided hike on the Northwest Passage connector (White Connector 3) to reach South Thompson Trail. Participants will hike a short portion of South Thompson before returning on Steep Creek Connector (White Connector 3) to Tall Oaks Trail and then making their way back to the campground amphitheater. This is an excellent opportunity to see the interior of the park. 

Participants are encouraged to dress for the weather, bring water and wear sturdy shoes and insect repellent.

The public is strongly encouraged to follow social-distancing guidelines and be proactive in protecting themselves and others.
