Check out these winter events at St. Louis area Missouri state parks and historic sites

JEFFERSON CITY, MO, JAN. 29, 2025 – Don’t let the cold weather, snow and ice keep you in! Check out these fun-filled activities planned at Missouri state parks and historic sites in the St. Louis area.

  • Saturday, Feb. 8 at 10 a.m. – Tweets for Sweets at Dr. Edmund A. Babler Memorial State Park
    Join the park team in celebrating National Bird Feeding Month by creating treats for our migratory winter bird friends. Participants will meet in the visitor center and learn about different types of feeders, from pinecone suet feeders to recycled bird feeders. Registration is required, limited to 30 and can be submitted by visiting icampmo.com, searching “Activities” and selecting “Dr. Edmund A. Babler Memorial State Park.” The park is located at 800 Guy Park Drive in Wildwood.
     
  • Saturday, Feb. 8, 10 a.m. – Story Time at Mastodon State Historic Site
    Come learn and create at Mastodon State Historic Site. The Story Time program features stories and activities related to various park topics. Each program takes place in the museum auditorium located at 1050 Charles J. Becker Drive in Imperial. These activities are designed for families with children 10 and under, but all are welcome. Registration is not required.
